This Chinese movie is about a writer who ends up living through the ghost stories that she is working on, particularly, those parts of the stories which she has discarded in the process of writing. The media in general has given good review for this movie. But was a disappointment to me. Much of the transitions in the the movie, from 1 scene to another were not well handled.Felt the abruptness when it moved from scene to scene, especially from the middle part when the writer starts her journey in the her own stories. There is no connections. Probably the emphasis on the show was on effects, overwhelmed with it in fact.
Was kinda scary for the first 20mins of the movie before it moves onto the special effects bit. And thats the me the more commendable part of the whole show.
For those who have not catch it, can do without and it wun be a great miss.
